FIRST PEOPLE Recruitment Solutions (FPRS) have recently welcomed Janeen Bulsey into their contracting team, working with our Commonwealth Government client at the Executive Level on the Cashless Debit Card (CDC) Program based in Bundaberg.
Janeen is a proud Aboriginal woman whose father’s side of the family is Quandamooka and mother’s side is Bundajalung.
Janeen has proven senior management experience across the Government, NFP, NGO and Community sectors and is also an award winner and has been engaged on several Aboriginal committees and consultative groups.
The CDC program is a high profile and innovative initiative, which has recently been enacted in Bundaberg and surrounding areas in Queensland.
The aim of the program is to test a new form of welfare delivery in Australia and consider the best way to support people, families and communities in places where high levels of welfare dependence co-exist with high levels of community harm, such as substance abuse and domestic violence.
We look forward to Janeen’s ongoing contribution and the outcomes of this Commonwealth Government initiative.
